Frequently asked questions.

Where is The PhysioLab NYC?

We are located at 201 Sullivan Street between Bleecker and West 3rd Street on the Ground Floor (it’s a black grated door with a PhysioLab NYC sign above it). We are located minutes away from the 1, 6, A, C, E, B, D, F, M, R, W. See the map at the bottom of the page for reference.

What can I expect on my first visit?

We take pride on starting our sessions on time. All of our patients and clients receive one-on-one individualized care for their entire time with us. You should expect to experience a thorough conversation where we listen to you and your story. Your skilled clinician will then perform an individualized examination and treatment taking into account not only your pain but establishing the root cause. You should leave with an understanding of why you are not moving as well as you’d like and a plan to reach your goals.

How should I prepare for my first visit?

Wear athletic clothing that is easy to move in such as sneakers, shorts, sweats, tank tops, t-shirts, sports bras, etc. Basically wear what you would to perform the sport or activity you participate in, or what you would to your local gym. Show up on time and bring any paperwork you may have related to your injury.

Do I need a Prescription?

You do not need a prescription to see us. In New York State Physical Therapists have direct access. If a prescription is needed for your insurance company we will inform you. If we deem it necessary for you to see an MD for a consult or imaging we will refer you to one.

What Conditions do you Treat?
